I think they have two addresses in Bradford. Also she needs to give us the exact name of the company she is having probs with.

Just found them hun on whocallsme and will check if they are connectedin any way -

I now know that 01274449197, 01274260010, 01274663293, 01274925390 all belong to a company called Redress Claims which might help with the complaints!

I phoned the DMA to check out the person who portported to be from the DMA named Beck who it appears does not exist and nor does the title of the job description which she gave at the the DMA. The DMA are going to look into this as this person is now telling porkie pies. Think I will now report the post to whocalls me as not genuine and make others aware that her statement was NOT true.

This was posted on 'who calls me' today following my post yesterday. At least I know the marketing agency is:dma will try now to locate them.

Also who calls me also advertise and right under my original post is a CMC called Premium Claims - wonder if this is their client lol.

I have responded as follows;-

Thankyou for posting up but as a matter of courtesy please let me have the name of the Claims Management Company together with their authorisation number with the MOJ that your operators are working for please.They were not clear with that when they called and it is very noisy in the background and as a consequence your operators have to shout and that is not the way to speak to people.

For your information - Claims Management Companies are not allowed to cold call that is in their terms holding an authorisation from the MOJ. I take this matter very seriously and have recorded the call to pass to the MOJ should I not get a satisfactory answer from you..

CMC's are not allowed to mislead you in a marketing call which your operator did yesterday by informing me that I had a credit card refund to come this was strange as I was not expecting a refund. When asked who the refund was from she told me it was credit card charges which I dont have, then she switched it to PPI which I also dont have.

I asked her where she got my details from she informed me that that the banks were waiting for my claim lol. No bank is going to employ someone to do this and so this is misleading. She also told me after I told her I was recording the call that she was also recording the call.

I am not happy about the intrusion of this phonecall and I will inform you that I personally know the head of the MOJ that deals with CMC's and their authorisation and will have no hestitation in calling him and speaking to Kevin Rousel directly

Hubby is a truck driver and his mate delievers in the keighley area (cockney living in yorkshire) so if he has time Dave 3 will have a wazz there and see what he can discover!

I will see my daughter later today and get the address from her, but the Consumer protection say 3 almost 4 years is too long,
They might not be connected, but every time she has rung this place they have fobbed her off
Another firm rang her and said they were Government funded, but i wouldnt think a Government funded place would cold call, they said they dont charge, but there might be a catch#I personally would trust anyone who cold calls
I have had calls myself about charges i dont have, or even accidents i haven,t had

On looking at these a bit more closely, the anomalies start to appear.

For example, Pendragon Financial Services Limited and Buckley Stevens and Co Ltd seem to share a common trading name, Spectrum Financial Protection.

Stonebridge Insolvency Limited seems to be unique in that it is apparently a company that has no officers at all running it.
Isn't it amazing what computers can do these days?

Powerhouse Media Limited seems to be an interesting company, as it is apparently an advertising agency that provides debt counselling on a commercial basis.

I have now put every combination of names into the MOJ auth business search and so far not one of the companies listed comes up.

Spectrum Financial it seems are a DMC not a CMC

So being cold called, a mis leading sales pitch and not being authorised for this type of business - so pleased they called me and at least I will ensure that these people are sorted and banged to rights.

Quite often the Ltd name is not the trading name. The reason I suspect this is because this is not coming up on the MOJ website as an authorised business..
