So that still does not tell us who the trading style of PPI Redress Ltd is and whether or not they have a MOJ authorisation for this particular company.

After all that it appears that the company that called me from 01535 358094 we are still no nearer to ascertaining the trading style.

Spectrum finance is another arm of all Mr V's many companies and another Ltd Company so not expecting them to be the trading style of PPI Redress Ltd.

But thanks for trying Puffrose we are at least eliminating what is not correct.

The holding message was "welcome to Money Village, a trading style of Debt Management Services" so i held. I said I had been asked to call urgently by CCS and was told, "they arent in business anymore, we bought them out."

Luckily for me Matty yelled so i put the phone down and i dialled 141 and withheld the number!!

Spectrum Finance number is unobtainable (they called me and I said Oh someone from your number called me from CCS.. are you the same people? and they put the phone down!!).
I will try the office again on Monday, under the guise of I had a message left for me to contact them :tinysmile_grin_t:

Interesting Labman on the ASA adjudication for this company Buckley Stephens is apparently a debt management company and not a CMC. DV hass oviously got his fingers in too many pies.

Any information received is really helpful if only to eliminate the information from our enquiries.

We really have a super team of helpers and so far have opened a cans of worms, an ant hill and come to more dead ends than answers.

I'm coming very late to this, and many have done lots of work, so if this adds to duplication, I apologise.

PPI Redress and Vausse have a range of companies. Has this link been explored as its been investigated by the Advertising Standards Authority already.

Curly Wig is a trading style of Clockwork Finance Ltd. whose registered office is at C/O The Needle Partnership LLP, West One, 114 Wellington Street, Leeds, LS1 1BA

This is getting silly.

On looking over the Consumer Credit Licence for Curlywig Limited - attached - I saw that they were also at that address.

So I looked up the details of Clockwise Finance Limited - which is either based in Salford (link) or in Leeds (link) - and which, according to the MoJ - link - is authorised and is based in Manchester.

If one looks at the company data for Clockwise Finance Limited (link) one will see that the named director is Mrs Samantha Poole. On looking at the list (link) of companies of which she is or has been a director, both Curlywig Limited and Powerhouse Media Limited are listed as past directorships - both of which companies have Darren Vause as their current director.

Clockwise Finance Limited also has a Consumer Credit Licence - see attachment.

Ok great work CC, but PPI Redress is also a LTD company at the same address so why would the trading name be another LTD company. He seems to have more companies than we have hot dinners. PPI Redress was only formed Aug11 how long has Curly Wig Ltd been going and why when they tell people the company say they are TIC or CCS??

Sorry folks I am still not 100% convinced that Curly Wig Ltd is the trading name for PPI Redress Ltd.

So on the 10/8/2011 they added Darren V as a director and then changed its name to Money Logic Services Ltd at the same time Darren V also starts another company called PPI Redress Ltd so there are now two Ltd Companies trading as a CMC. The company called curlywig was dormant at the last accounts so neither company has any track record. Darren V has so many companies to keep track of lol.

I first looked on Google to get the name of the gent behind PPI Redress Limited, one Darren Vause; we've seen him before but I'd forgotten his name, which popped up on Company Check - link.

So I clicked on his name to remind myself of the companies of which he is/was a director - link

(Yes, I know this was duplicated effort, but I was just retracing my steps...)

Then I looked on the MoJ database for companies authorised for Financial Services claims, based in West Yorkshire - link - of which there are/were 96.

Of those companies, there is only one where Darren Vause is a director - Curlywig Limited. (link)

If one looks at bt.con for a phone number for any of his companies, there is only one result - the freephone number for Money Tailor, 0800 043 3433. Looking for that on Google, however, also brings up references to Spectrum Financial, which seems to be a trading name of Pendragon Financial Services Limited - another of Darren Vause's list of companies and, for a change, this one is active (link)

It looks as if Darren Vause has the phone number in the name of one company, his MoJ authorisation in another whilst keeping the books in yet a third name. Who does he think he is - Robert "bouncing Czech" Maxwell?

I phoned the DMA to check out the person who portported to be from the DMA named Beck who it appears does not exist and nor does the title of the job description which she gave at the the DMA. The DMA are going to look into this as this person is now telling porkie pies. Think I will now report the post to whocalls me as not genuine and make others aware that her statement was NOT true.

We are now trying to find out who they are and what is going on.. cos something is not right!!
