Thanks for your kind words Amethyst.

I just hope that more people can successfully defend their cases in future.

The tactics that these companies such as lowlife use are nothing short of bullying and intimidation.

Hi G, I can't see that there's any harm in trying to get the default removed as it sounded like that no-one can prove the debt exists - even Lloyds can't produce the paperwork. Give it a try. But Amethyst knows a lot more about these things than me. It's got to be worth a postage stamp or two to tidy up your file. Just write a simple request giving the court's findings and state that you have no idea what this debt is and that 2 solicitors and Lowells were unable to advise you or the court. Accordingly, you require this damaging file entry removed forthwith. (I haven't used that word in years!!!)

                Hi guys,

                Hope everyone is well?!

Just a quick update. I have emailed all the credit reference agencies to dispute the data which Lowlifes have reported on my credit file. Basically, I just made them aware of the fact that this debt remains unproven and that it was dismissed by a judge in court. I've asked for it to be removed.

I I will keep you updated if anything comes of it.

                Take it easy.

                  Hello G,

The debt may be unenforceable via the courts, however it still exists and actually can be pursued and will be removed on the 6th anniversary of the default date.

                    Hi Nem,

Fair point. I guess its just a waiting game for the next 16 months until the 6 years will have passed.

                      Hello G,

                      nem

It's my feeling that there is need for change now G. I doubt the law will be changed though however unfair this may seem.
