  • Resolve chasing Statue barred debt

Received a letter from resolve about a 10 year old Lloyd’s debt around 250£ , they are asking me to contact them in the next 7 days or they will do a home visit , should I just ignore them and mean time request Lloyds for info as I don’t remember the details

Very similar situation posted here last week. The advice I gave there is also the advice I offer you:

If you are confident the debt is statute barred there's no point in wasting time asking for information from Lloyds. Only do that if Resolve claim the debt isn't statute barred and they want to pursue it further. In that case come back here for more advice.

If they have written to you I assume they have your correct current address. If not you tell them what it is.
All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.
