If you had no notice of the court claim and feel you can defend the claim you should be looking at an application to set the Judgment aside. Hi all
I’ve posted here before in regards to an alleged debt I owe in the amount of £1008 this debt has an CCJ on it which was apparently issued in 2015 I don’t ever recall having debt this big for an alleged mail order account. I have disputed the debt with Lowell Solicitors and they tell me the original debt was £810 the rest is court costs and interest Charges I did have some mail order accounts in 2007 which did default but they were for small amounts around £150-£250 I asked Lowell to provide me with a CCA agreement Which they provided me with this morning which is unsigned I will attach a copy of this I don’t ever have a recollection for a debt this big I’m not sure what to do next I was going to make an offer of settlement for around £405 just to have it done with and get me some peace of mind back
