      Re: CB's on a mission

Well I finally received a letter from collections, I say letter I mean the normal templated Bovine.
So I actually called them and it transpires that my missive never actually got to their computer system, or so I'm told.
Yet another copy sent off, back to waiting I guess for the corperate brain cell to be available for this issue.

I'm not going to be holding my breath.

Oh yeah while I was on the phone to them I just happened to forget t otell them I've moved house. No matter that's what mail redirect is for

        Re: CB's on a mission

        FINALLY !!!

So not one but TWO responses to my letter.
One form Central Complaints concerning the PPI on ALL of the loans and one from Executive Complaints concerning the final consolidation loan.

They both basically said they same thing, the old, "we're sorry you have cause for compliant and we'll shove it on the pile"

Just wait and see what they have to say now.

Now I do remember that HFC were fined several million for misselling PPI, but I can't for the life of me remember the actual details. Can anyone enlighten me on this one, might be needed, but I doubt it..

              Re: CB's on a mission

              So TWO response received.

PPI - Sod orf as the accounts are over 6 year limitations !!
Accounts - Here have a refund of charges, accept or sod orf to FOS.

I just give up. What is it with these idiots.
Mind you they have offered FULL charges with 8% stat without too much of a fight, so what are they hiding ?!?!

                Re: CB's on a mission

You can reclaim PPI as far back as the 1990's so why do they still try to get out of it this way?
This is why people dont carry their complaints on to the FOS.

                  Re: CB's on a mission

Yep that's exactly what I thought Pinknico, especially as I have all of the appropriate "agreements" for these accounts.

They are trying to feed me some bovine about destroying paperwork after 6 years, but how does that explain the old stuff I received in my SAR !?!?!

                  Idiots.

oh well another one for the FOS then, and if needs be court action.
I simplly need to discredit the final consolidation loan and the rest fall like a pack of cards.
I think they too have realised this hence their offer of returning ALL charges ever posted to these accounts.

Now let me think, 1500 off an alleged balance of 8.5K hmm do they really think I'm THAT stupid.
This has been ongoing for nearly THREE years now, so come on !!!

So 6 weeks are now up for their carppy offer on the charges, just waiting for their next nastygram now.

Need to get my butt in gear and start taking this to FOS.
Think I'll go with the PPI for openers

Oh dear just realised while I was driving home.
I haven't received my annual statement for the last since this all started.
Shame, so they are in default under s6 CCA 2006

Well had a nice letter from them this morning talking about the account and the fact they'll be sending an advisor round within 14 days.
*cough* I think not as this went to my OLD address.

Oh well I'll call the FOS when I'm bored in the next few weeks and start that ball rolling..

Tooo much carp in my life and I have let this one slip.
Admittedly I haven't heard anything from them of late, but I need to get a wiggle on with the FOS.
Palm it off on them and let them work it all out, especially as the OC has washed their hands of the situation.
