I know that I am not good in technical writing. You wouldn't have any sample witness statements link by any chance. I have tried to google it but not much joy.

The only good a template would be is to show you how to head it and show you the required elements in all witness statements. The actual guts of it are pretty unique to each statement and therefore no use to anyone else.

Once you have the correct headings and statement of truth and have included personal info, read it and ask yourself if a complete stranger would have a clue what you are saying and why. If not it's pretty useless. If so it's probably fine.

If you get to questionnaire then you'll be allocated small claims and cpr 31 will not apply. I wouldn't fancy my chances of an unless order then.

You can settle any time up to judgement.



I'm aware of 1 and you can't see it cause it's VIP. The case is stayed and should be put to bed. This was pre Mitchell and the Jackson reforms. Please point me to the ones you mention.

Aside from me being lost as to where you are now, you still haven't pointed me to the cases that went against the defendant. I'm not trying to be a smart ass but they would be helpful in learning from mistakes.

Have you entered a defence ? Sure seems like it. If you have the unless order in this thread will be virtually useless as you'll be allocated to small claims and cpr 31 will not apply. You'd need to be very lucky to get a hearing for your application before the case is allocated.

Well if you've defended you have to fill it in.

I don't know what your defence is so it's hard to comment further without it.

It was an embarrased defence as I couldnot plea anything. I had no paperwork to refer back to.

I filed my embarrassed defense on 17th Jan;14 i think but got questionnaire in the post last Saturday. I have sent 2 msgs but not getting any reply from CEL.

any advice anything i can prepare in advance.
