        Hi Jax

Tell your mum to check her statement when it comes in as they do have a habit of putting the money straight ino the account.

Fingers crossed wont be too long now.

Re: jax mum v Barclaycard ~ 9-day challenge

Think I should have called this 60-day and some challenge! LOL!!

OK - have had a response dated 13 January - see attached.

They have listed £152 in charges and £66.99 in interest

They have offered to pay back £126 in charges and £36.48 in charges ... WHY?????

My life! I fail to understand their logic.

So now we have to send yet ANOTHER letter saying we refuse the initial offer and will only accept full refund ... why oh why do they do this????? The cost of keep sending and receiving letters is ridiculous.

                    Hi Jax
Well your mum could accept this as a payment on account and still go back for the balance £56.51 as I guess they have already credited that to Mum's account.

Probably what has happened they have not taken out the previous persons details on their standard letter when they wrote to your Mum. Check her Barclaycard first though just in case they have given you the correct money?

                    Hope it gets sorted.
                    Regards
                    Tuttsi xx
