Oh not very much Tools ... probably less than £100 charges ... but better in her pocket than theirs however much it is.

Gonna have a go with my own cards too.

Have sorted most of my paperwork from over the last year now (had left post unopened for about 8 months!!!!) so will get on and sort out my charges, etc

Had a call from a CMC a couple of months back saying I was owed about £1800 PPI on a mortgage (details of which they had picked up from a court hearing ????). Anyway they have alerted me so I need to sort that out too.

... am on a mission LOL!!

            Jax

You have to remember that a CMC does not know that you have PPI and that it has been mis-sold. They could not have possibly picked up your details from a court hearing.

Do you remember which CMC actually called you?

Also, did the CMC cold call you?

Anyway, if you did take PPI insurance there is a great possibility that yours was mis-sold and they are probably right. but not because they are privvy to your details they just make a stab in the dark and fall lucky.

You know we have all the resources here on LB to help you when you are ready.

No Tutts can't remember which CMC it was - I actually thought it was someone from the court calling by the way they presented themselves. It was ages ago now ... earlier this year ... and they said there had been a block hearing last October on all (TMB I think) mortgages and those that had applied for PPI had got it back and those that hadn't, this CMC swept up details from the court (apparently). Said I was owed £1800. I nearly fell for it ... said they were governed by MoJ ... I kept questioning them and they wouldn't actually say they were a CMC but after a long verbal ping-pong I told them if there was anything to claim I'd do it meself!!

Aw hiyer Wend - yep have now opened all my post from before Christmas last year and dealt with relevant matters and am now on a mission to sort out these charges, etc. Hope you OK hun.

Had a real heart-to-heart with Sapphire on way back from Brum and realized I just gotta get on with stuff. Had a lot of s*it to sort out first so can now see a glimmer of light.

Just for info ... pushed the boat out on this BC charges letter and paid grand sum of £4.99 to ensure delivery before 1pm tomorrow. So let's see what transpires on or before 25th (discounting the weekend) .....................

Scooby ... yes I wonder too??!! Trust all that to go off when we were there ..............

And as for Enaid and Sapph ... what a great pair you too are. Actually I must post up one of the pix of Enaid LOL.

You guys are great ... and I did heed the advice of Sapph but have had a hugely trying time recently and what with my daughter's wedding being rushed through (which I might add could not have been more perfect if we had put in a special order upstairs for the most perfect day ever) I am now getting to grips with stuff and moving forward.

                              BTW when's the next meet??
