  • NatWest take loan payment 3 times

If Nattie is about can I have some expert advice please.

Just checked my NatWest account online and they have taken three payments of £148.02 which is my monthly loan payment. Phoned them immediately but have been told it will take FIVE working days for them to investigate and make a repayment.

Re: NatWest take loan payment 3 times

Natts says - Was there any arrears? if yes then that is why they have taken three payments to clear the arrears.

It wasn't your first payment on the loan.

Now as the accounts are both with Natwest it certainly shouldnt take 5 days. I would consider asking them for an immediate increase in overdraft (interest free) until they conclude their investigation and repay you.

Re: NatWest take loan payment 3 times

The DD guarantee scheme says immediate refund so no 5 days investigation. It is an error by the sounds of it pure and simple.

I assume the payment was by DD ?
