      Stupid question guys but the first two letters - first letter re. SAR; second letter re. charges on my account - was I supposed to send a copy of them to FOS?

        Nope You go to the FOS if they ignore you/refuse to consider your complain ect

            Hi all

            Received letter this morning re. HSBC overdraft

            "We have recently advised you of our concerns regarding the position on your account, and have asked you to take action to rectify the situation or to c ontact us blah blah blah blah failure to respond to this letter may have serious consequences, including registering details of default with credit reference agencies. If we do this it will mean that you may find it more difficult to obtain credit" - HA - Obtain Credit!!!!

            Any advice? I owe this about £600 and have been paying them a tenner a month. I don't think we would be classed a hardship case unfortunately, so I could really pay off a bit more, but not the whole sum in one go.
