I've just done some cross checking with the ref ending 814 - the one I've paid. Aren't their sums wrong?
I have every letter, PCN anything to do with finance on an excell sheet. I've just cross referenced and have only ever received one letter from JBW for this PCN (FR***730) and that was a 'notice of seizure of goods and inventory. He didnt clamp car, just put a sticker on it. I called and paid £744.64 which they have under the payments section.
Besides not receiving any further letters they seem to have charged me twice for ATR. Can they do that?
Also when adding up their fees relating to their ref ending 814 it totals £572.64

    Have I miscalculated?

No. It sounds like they are hoping you haven't noticed their usual MO of double-charging fees and charging fees the law does not permit. Let Clever Clogs work his magic on the fees they are claiming and see what he comes up with. Penny to a pound, JBW are owed far less than they claim.

That's the thing with JBW, Cloggy. They make such a ruddy mess of providing a breakdown, they seem to hope you'll give up trying to make heads or tails of it and pay up anyway. Naughty. Very naughty, indeed.

Completing the other TE7 & TE9 was easy enough - I paid PCN
What would you suggest I give my reasons for the others?

Sorry to interupt but aren't pcn fees due to bailiffs set under schedule 1, so the first and only chargeable letter (which id make them show proof of postage before I paid) is 'worth' to them £11.20+vat and if the sum (original pcn with no bailiff fees added on) is under £100 they would be due on a successful levy (gain entry and make valid inventory) £28, if over £100 then they would be due 28% of sum to be collected on a valid levy, that is all they are allowed by law, so if they send a letter (and can prove it with proof of posting) but cant gain peaceful entry, you are only libel for original pcn+court fee+bailiff fee of £13.44.

I'm trying to figure these sums out myself, making some headway, but would sure appreciate some help :tinysmile_grin_t:
In the meantime, a few questions, trawling through posts for answers, but if they could be answered here would sure clear my head a bit :boom:

Would bailiff be required to list each PCN on one letter (for multiple PCNs)?
ATL can this be charged on multiple PCNs listed on one letter
ATL can this be charged on multiple PCNs if not listed on one letter
ATR – how is this defined, would I need to receive paperwork of which items had been seized, would a car on drive be noted as levied?
Can ATR be applied to each multiple PCN at same time?
Can ATL and ATR be charged on same day?
Can ATR and ATL be applied twice to one PCN?

Sent in a bunch of TE7's and TE9's - what happens next?

I think it is that only one set of fees can be applied if a bailiff visits for multiple PCN on the same day at the same time as per the Blaby Council and Rossendales LGO investigation, among others.

Moreover, if distress has already been levied on goods, the same goods may not be levied upon for another debt.

If the bailiff is silly enough to levy the same goods at the same time for multiple PCN/CTax LO, after the first levy, he is effectively levying his property as it passed to him after the first levy, so is a complete no no, any attempt to do this and claim the fees are correctly applied is fraud imho.

But still the buggers often try it on, and a council backs their bailiff, forgetting their liability for their bailiffs numptiness.
