Re: IVA problems with nationwide wide and arc Europe
Did you make a formal agreement with Arc to pay a settlement of £6000 ? In writing ?
Had they purchased the account ( did you receive a notice of assignment ?) or were they just acting on behalf of Nationwide ? I'm not sure but I think ARC just act as debt collection FOR Nationwide so the debt was always owned by them ( - did ARC ever show on your credit file or did that remain as Nationwide ?)#staysafestayhome
Any support I provide is offered without liability, if you are unsure please seek professional legal guidance.

Re: IVA problems with nationwide wide and arc Europe
I can't remember getting a assignment letter .but arc Europe sent me a letter stating that the balance on the nationwide balance was £6;162.03.And nationwide building society has put in a claim on my IVA for £15;000 .I didn't think they could do this as it was agreed with all my creditors .on 26.62017 then anyone wishing to put in a claim had 21 days.i got a email from credit fix 5.8.2017 that nationwide had put in a claim for £15.000 .which I had told them I was already paying this debit with arc Europe . So later I was sent another email from credit fix stating that nationwide had bought the debit and had decided that I owed £15;000 and not the £6;162.03 balance that arc Europe had sent me .still don't know how to sort this out .I just don't like being taken for a mug .thanks for your reply .
