  • NRAM/Landmark etc can I still claim?

    Hi.

Some time ago (Feb 201600), I contacted Landmark to see if any charges for mortgage and Together loans and they wrote back to say that there were none.

I was so busy with house remodelling last year that I forgot to respond. When I tried to follow it up with FOS they said that I had left it too long to take further action because I gone over the 30 day allowed to take action. They suggested I try to contact the lender again to see if they would allow me to start again but they doubted I would be successful.

can I start the process all over again?

    Thanks in anticipation.

How much approx was your Together loan ?

http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...ult-date-issue might be helpful or there's a few other NRAM/Together threads about the place - few links come up automatically at the bottom of this thread.

      Hi Amethyst.

It's a bit complex because there was the original mortgage, a re-mortgage and a couple of together loans. Do you mean just the together loans or everything?

      Thanks for answering.

Just the together loans individually - were each of them under £25k ?

I think your starting point would be to send a Subject Access Request to NRAM (UK Asset Resolution) to get the full history of all the accounts.

Can you also clarify the date you contacted Landmark about charges (there seems to be a typo in your first post)?

And what was the "30 days to take action" which the FOS referred to?

Did you deal direct with Northern Rock throughout the loan cycle or did you arrange the mortgage, remortgage and unsecured loans through a broker? Maybe a bit of both

The dates you took out each product would be helpful too.

I've seen another thread which you started in March 2015 about reclaiming PPI on your Northern Rock mortgages and loans. Is this charges' issue related?

The present account is not the 16 digit account that I read about though I can only find the mortgage offer and not the agreement.

Also I believe that there is PPI on some of the other loans I had with them in the past (and perhaps the current one).

My thrust of action is threefold. Does the dodgy documentation apply to me?, Have I been missold the mortgage because it was for 30 years and I'm in my early 60s now and no proper suitability check where carried out by NR and finally I will be tackling the PPI as normal.

I suppose the first thing to do is get my paperwork from them so in light of my three pronged action would I be advised to get a full SAR and CCA request in the first instance?
