3 letters GOODFF do not bother, they would know you are week , they do not work if it went to court and work against you in all but most cases, do it the proper way.

Re: Newbie.
Ok well i apparently took out the contract with o2 2012. I remember ringin them at the time on numerous ocassions because of no service almost every where stateing ther a service provider that are not providing me with service. They would not cancell my agreement stateing this and that about phone masts in my area so i got fed up and cannceld my direct debit basically then they sold it to lowell in 2014 its for £395 i have moved 3 times in this time and only just got on the electroll roll so i guess thats how they have found my adress i am willing to pay it if they can provide me with some kind of contract as i will be applying for a mortgage within the next 2 years and dont want a ccj. Thanks.for the help .

Re: Newbie.
remember a default stays on credit file regardless i.e. satisfied/partial satisfied for 6 years from default date (5 years if you live in scotland), remember if what you state is true events then contact OFCOM and give them the details post haste and see their response?? just a suggestion!

as far as CCJ a long way off at this stage if you do not ignore them as they love to get a CCJ by default i.e. you do not defend a case too early to state best way until all the evidence is in front of you takes time do not panic!

Re: Newbie.
The letter is a 'Letter before Action' & so you should respond.

Re: Newbie.
Entry on credit reference will show partial settlement or full sttlement if you pay them, but you could suggest in light of the fact that unable to use the phones due to reception and the telecom company could not care therefore regardless if they remove entry on full payment> try sure others will comment also.
