  • Caught stealing from Marks and Spencer

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me advise if any additional steps are going to be taken. I was caught stealing from M and S today, I feel ashamed about my actions and I’m giving myself a really hard time about it, as I should. I was given a letter banning me from all stores for life, this letter was a trespass notice. They took some details from my ID and took my photo but I am now really worried about what they can do with my photo/information. The police were not contacted as they took away the goods i hadn’t paid for. However I am really worried about other local shops on the same retail park and local area now, if my name and information will be passed over or shared and I’ll be on some local ‘watchlist’ or something. Amy advice please? I am stressed!
