Hi. I sent them an email and they haven’t yet replied and its been over a month. I still keep receiving threatening letters from third party debt collectors. I emailed them about these letters to yet no reply so should I assume that the PCN has been taken off their system? Or email them asking for progress? What do u suggest pls?

Hi
I have read the document you have put up today. In my opinion this is NOT a letter before claim. This seems to be a letter from debt collectors saying that if you do not pay up then they will instruct their clients ie TNC to send you a 'letter before claim'. It will be headed 'letter before claim' or 'letter before action' or something with a very similar wording. It will not be headed 'intention to issue a letter before claim'. You need to wait for that and if you get one you MUST respond. But that does not mean that you pay them.
What they have done is sneaky and designed to frighten you but this is the level of behaviour that you must expect from them. Extracting money with menaces is how they make a living.
