Hi i was wondering if anyone knows if bright finance brokers are or were in anyway connected to welcome finance. The reason i ask i am in dispute over a broker fee added to the account. We know we did not use a broker.

Where is this charge showing on your account ? on the agreement or in statements ? On a quick look there's a few brokers called 'Bright' - do have have more specifics and there's quite a few threads that link Welcome and Bright brokers - mainly with regards PPI ?

When you took out the loan did you simply go direct to Welcome ? and did you have PPI on it ?


This seems to be the one related to Welcome loans.

Hi we did not have ppi but when i recieved a statementbfrom welcome finance it had a broker fee of 1

Hi i recieved a statement which had this broker fee on it charging £1600 plus an acceptance fee of £235. And the broker was the one you mentioned but is now dissolved. I have been in dispute with welcome over this and have now managed to get the name from them which as i said bright finance brokers. Welcome also said i did not have ppi.

Okay are you trying to reclaim the PPI ?

Did the broker fee show on your original credit agreement ? ( and have they provided a copy ?) PPI show on your agreement at all ?
Anything show in the annual statements ?

I'd do a SAR to Welcome Finance if you haven't already;
