Around July 2016 I was accused of a historical offence against a child (my step son's daughter) - 20 years ago. I would add straight away that this is entirely false and upsetting.
In July 2016 I attended a police station and gave a voluntary interview. I heard nothing further and in April 2017 moved to France. Then in July 2017 I had an email that said they wished to talk to me again at a police station in connection with another matter (which I have no idea about). I did not reply and after a follow up email in Sept. 2017 have heard nothing since.
My question is...if I returned to UK for a holiday (by car) am I likely to get stopped when entering the country? How can I find out?
