  • County court business centre claim CEL

    Hi,

Would really appreciate some advice after receiving a claim form. I have completed acknowledgement of service online with the intention of defending.

      Help with CEL defence, please.

      Received this claim form.

Acknowledged service filed online, looking for a defence, not driver but the registered keeper. Does this claim form look in order? I was going to bin it like the rest of the documents I received.

Pepipoo forums Have some CEL defences that may be of interest. It's the usual CEL PoC with not a lot of details about the reason for the breach.

That's a valid looking claim form.

Don't ignore it or they will get a Default Judgement against you. You have 33 days from the date on the claim form to file a defence so check what your deadline is here - Check dates

If it falls on a weekend or bank holiday you have until 4pm the following working day to file.

Do your research and file a defence.
