I know what you mean - I nearly left at the weekend too, but was persuaded to stay.

I am just getting fed up of the over-moderation over there - I'm sure a lot of people know the rumours going around about why so many mods/site-helpers have just left en-masse.

Certianly an interesting weekend and a major eye opener for alot of people.

Yup - they've even decided to kick people off who have been good and loyal members without even the courtesy of replying to their messages/emails.

I think we can either continue on this vein about deja vu and appear to sound bitter or move on and enjoy this forum. I am as mad as anyone but that annoyance achieves little but to reduce the anger. Try the Music forum, cos that is very calming. I am not taking a dig at anyone but it is an odd week.

Good point Vortex.

Although I do think the tone this thread is taking stems from a wish to offer reassurance and solidarity to those people who are experiencing these problems for the very first time.
I remember my own anger and frustration all too well. That has now long faded and as we have built something so good on LB, the only feelings I now feel are positive.
I guess it's simply us 'old timers' offering support, reassurance and understanding to those now experiencing the baffling behaviour of CAG.

No, to be serious, I think it's good that people share their knowledge around various sites anyway - that way the maximum number of people get the benefit of everyone's experience.

I did wonder if my IP ady was blocked as I couldn't check in to be nosy at all last night.

Must have been updating the site tho, cos I'm back in again. Paranoia was obviously creeping in, so I really should stop giving a sh!t.
