Start from the bottom, gather all the paper round in a bunch, tuck in corners, fold here and there, and Bobs your uncle. Altenatively buy a big gift bag......msl:

I can't order 3 more, not till I get my Crap One cheque anyway (actually thats OH's cheque, but same difference lol). :carrot:

And DO NOT keep mentioning crystal and stuff, especially earrings. If you get any more pm's from me please ignore them lol.

Well I am keeping myself busy, had to nip into town today as I need a new cork board for my stand on Sunday, and of course to go to post office to post a parcel off!

Then came home and needed to get some of the stuff for Sunday sorted out as the other half's mum is here tonight and we are all going over to the Wirral tomorrow to see the kids' grandmother. So I now need to wrap her pressies, have pinched a bookmark out of stock (just ordered some more!!, though another customer ordering 3 would be nice...... hint hint) and I need to make her some emerald Swaro earrings.

Does anyone have any idea of the heck to wrap a tin of roses and make it look presentable?

Oh and am also trying to squeeze in a last bit of work for the month, haven't done much this month, but I need about another 50 to keep my job! Got till midnight tonight mind you, but it's difficult to do it when Sven's mum is here.

Coffee break over, back to it....... any help with the tin of roses would be appreciated

Well its quiet on here today gang, and now its nearly time to go home, thank God. Have got loads of stuff to do and its gotta be done today so i can take it to a meeting in Warwick first thing Monday. Oh well I'd better get on with it then. Am in a good mood today, thanks to Crap One, and am off out tonight to a Northern Soul night. The younger ones may well wonder what that is, those of us old enough to remember Wigan will know what i'm on about lol. Anyway, really looking forward to it, don't think I'll be doing much dancing though, not amongst the Wigan veterans anway lol.

What a crappy day so far. Got up late, rushed to stables, got sorted mega quic(after a battle with jerry and the electric fence). I was definitley not running late for work, got to the big junction which is 4 miles from work an easy 10 minute run every other morning, at 8.35. Got to work 4 miles and 1 and a quarter hours later. At least I caught up with my phone calls while I was stationary, one of which was school telling me Jess was ill so had sent her home. Got to work and end up sorting all the engineers out (Thursday is timesheet day). Starving now cos I ate my sandwiches for breakfast whilst stuck in the mega traffic jam earlier. Can't go out cos am on my own now and no-one else to mind the phones. Can't see my desk for paperwork, it looks like Beirut on a bad day.

But the weather is lovely, no rain, bright sunshiney day, and not too cold.

    Happy Thursday to you all.

Oh yes, and can't even do internet banking cos of the stupid card reader extra security thingy that Natwest are now using. Its crap and the system crashes every time we try to use it. I'm gonna do a bunk before they all realise there's no wages this weekmsl:

Just got back from the post office and the co-op, sausage casserole for tea!

Gonna load up the washer with the first load of the day.

Got a child at home with a smacked up head, he managed to bang and cut his head last night (and no..... it's not what you are all thinking!) bled quite a lot, managed to get the blood of the sofa, but his school shirt is now in a bucket of bleach (by the time we had sorted him and got his shirt off the blood was drying)

Oh well, at least I have someone to keep me going with coffee while I am beading lol

    Morning all,

Its all blue skies here at the moment ! I spent yesterday catching up with the accounts etc as the VAT is due again tomorrow (hopefully we will have another nice rebate again). Need to do some more accounts today as the accountant is coming tomorrow afternoon, as its also our end of year, so busy, busy but hopefully an hour or so should fix it. After that a normal day in the office, Les is here so he can get the phones, tea, toast etc.

Foot still sore, at least I can get about indoors without the boot, just need to use it for a couple more weeks whilst out and about.

Must go collecting in the Avon books as well, hmmmm think I'll leave that till the weekend and do it in daylight, its safer, don't want another broken bone do I.

Still campaigning for a puppy, but am not getting anywhere at the moment, I think I may have to make a drastic move and withdraw relations and if that fails then I'll pack my bags and threaten to move out (bet that don't work either) failing that just go and get one and bring it home (sod him, he'll have to put up with it).

Crimbo, still writing sodding cards, friends, family, and the business urrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh.

Well what a brilliant day NOT

effin childminder is ill, Wife has exams at college, so I have had to come into work, get all my files, email docs home, then i will have to go home and look after the kids as well as try to do work.

It wouldnt be so bad, except that ive got some tenders to sort out today.

Add to that that i am still in the middle of reinstalling windows and ALL my software (plus all the updates) on my pc at home and that just about tops it off nicely.

At least this afternoon the eldest goes to nursery, which leaves me with little miss(chevious) to contend with.

No doubt I will be popping on here as well from time to time to escape.

    Happy Thursday everyone

If its not there, I'm not bothered, but if is is, I drink it lol. The only thing i don't touch is Oh's cointreau, unless he offers, and vice versa with my Southern Comfort. But we don't get those till Christmas Eve, they're our wedding anniversary pressies. Apart from that, we usually get brandy and whisky(yuk), and mainly wine. Not having a new year party this year, as far as I know, anyway, so won't have to go too mad with the booze. Oh yeah, mustn't forget the port, marks and Sparks one is lovely, and only about 6 quid a bottle.

And I'll have you know that its very taxing, digesting the news from yesterday as well as todays all in one gomsl: I may have to take a break shortly and do some work for a change. I reckon if I have a mad blast for an hour or so, chuck a few letters in the post tray, that sort of thing, it'll look like I've been busy...
