Re: FMB Fanclub
Okey, Hope everyone has had a good weekend.
I'm just sat here waiting for my curry to arrive and have come to the conclusion that I'm curry addict.
Last Sat: Home made Curry
Monday: Curry ready meal
Tuesday: Takeaway Curry
Thurday: Takeaway Curry
Last Night: Home made Curry
Tonight: Takeaway Curry
Anyone got the number for Curry Anonymous???
It got so bad I only have to say the house number to the takeaway and they knew the rest of my address.
Been shopping today and got the daughter a Pair of Boots which cost me £38.00
not bad price you may think, but she's not even 2 yet...bloody Clarks..They are nice though.
Whereas me and the lad got hiking boots and it didn't even come to half that for both pairs.
Anyway, Monday tommorrow and the start of the LAST working week of 2007.

I would add that I was a complete soap addict at one time, now i am beginning to think I am a prude (lol) or the story lines are way off. Give us your thoughts please, after all they are the biggest part of our tv viewing.

Re: FMB Fanclub
Well now Ive managed to catch up on a few threads I dont feel as thought Ive been away that long............... cant believe its nearly Christmas, just dont know where this year has gone. Definitely been the most eventful year of my life. I havent forgotten about you guys on here, Ive just been mental with workload, and houseload, and claim load, and kids, and dogs, and family, what a year. WHIRLWIND IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. As I was saying, me new dowgeeeee is called HOMER. Dont laugh. I know its bad, but hubbys choice. I wanted new dowgee to keep existing lovely dowgee company on the days Im working, cos he gets lonely, and hubby was dead against the idea, but on account of I can be quite persuasive, he caved in, but only on condition he could choose the name. So we let him pick. And Homer it was.......................... I wouldnt care but hes not even a yellow lab, hes a black one like me existing lovely labby. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay for da dowgeeeees. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. Hes so adoreable and luckily the two of them get on like a house on fire. Its brilliant, if not a little more hectic. So so so much to tell, but only if anybodys interested. Not gonna lay my life out on here anymore cos I think I go on a bit too much and bore ya all half to death. Have become very well versed on how the french legal system and housey purchase out there goes, still not completely through, we expect to take possession of the house in France sometime end of Jan or first week Feb. Everything crossed. Just waiting for the french valuation this week. But theyre system out there is just so incredibly slow. Learning patience with the banks this year has been a godsend, otherwise I would have been half mad by now. Waiting waiting waiting, Ive spent my life waiting around this year for things to happen. Ive tried to help them along their way, but theres only so much pushing you can do, the rest involves being patient and waiting. Story of my life. Well my bank winnings this year have been put to very good use. Have sunk 25K into the house in France with rest on a cheap french mortgage, so at least all these bank and credit card charges over the years have been some sort of mad savings plan really although I wouldnt advocate the savings plan to anybody with all the worry that comes with it. But its truly been a revelationary year for me. I turned 40 this year, and if this is anything to go by, LIFE TRULY DOES BEGIN AT 40. Ive turned everything around and everything is going really really well, and I just wanted to let everybody know, whatever ***** your going through, it really can turn around with a little effort patience, persistence and time. Thats all it takes really and the help of a very good group of people who want to spend their time helping others. It works. Its a proven formulae for me this year. God Im ranting again.......................... sorry peeps, cant help it.
Right, this post is long enough. Youve all drifted off to kip again havent you. Just trying to catch up peeps, thats all.
Fendy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx happy crimbo. x

Good afternoon one and all............................. time to take a half hour breather before Crimbo hits me thinks.................. tis all happening at my end here............. just cos I havent been posting doesnt men I havent been watching whats going on this place.......... lol.......... lots, crikey, too much for me to ever catch up on completely. Well finished putting tree up, much the disdain of meeee new dowgeeeeee who pulled it over el pronto, (oh yeah forget to say, got a new pup, 11 weeks old, had him three weeks now) another gorgeous black labby nd my existing labby loves him to pieces................. yaaaaaaaaaaaaay for the iccle dowgeeeeees, ok dont me started on that one........... and then low and behold another cheque this morning from Halifax Credit Card. But eejits are playing about with me and Im not sure how to handle it so come on here for advice and the usual propping up o each others claims................ so off to post about it in the Halifax thread and probs better put it in the CCI thread too cos my claim is with CCI. Ooooo eck,,,,,,,, II knew that wouldnt be straight forward, it never is, although I have to say it was a walk in the park with Crapital bum. Help............................ Fendy xxxxxxx back in a bit to post in here again to try and catch up a bit, but off to do business first and post about the HBOS claim.
xxxxxxxxxxxx much love, and joyeux noel to one and all. House in France still not quite mine, nearly there..............xxx

Re: FMB Fanclub
Correct Mrs lol you are the first up today, I on the other hand feel about 90 and am as rough as a bears backside lol.
I stayed up way too late last night and I think the rum measure slipped a little, I'll survivr i have to cause it's SATURDAY lol
Tis me telly night and what a night, final of the X Factor that should be good, still backing Rhydian meself.
The clever TV people have put this on at the same time as Robin Hood, quite disgusting IMO but then all will be repeated tomorrw, cheapskates I know but handy for me in case I miss anything lol.
Then first, but not least is Strictly Come Dancing, what a lovely and enjoyable bit of tv this has been. Well for me anyway and if I'm not wrong there is soon to be another Ice skating one, I like that as well.
So that's my evening planned out, just got to sort out the day bit and the domestics
I do hate housework lol
Still if I get stuck in and get sorted I will feel better, if someone takes my PC off me I will get sorted alot quicker too

And while I am here I would like you all to see that I have changed colour lol I am now a purple (as I call em). This is because I am now what is called a team member, (among other things).
I am quite flattered that I have been asked to become part of the team and hope I do contribute in some way no matter how trivial.
I have always said how much I enjoy being on here and I must admit something I never thought I could do.
I can not profess to know much about much, but I can raise a titter and you can bend my ear, as long as you don't expect too much of me, I'll do ok Thanks Enaid x

Re: FMB Fanclub
Morning,
Well I have to share this with you all lol Tis not often I get embarrassed, well this morning I did. I think most of you know I likes me game of Bingo at the old Gala (not encouraging any of you lot to gamble, tis my only pleasure apart from me rum of course) anyway I tried to deposit and I couldn't put the amount in, no way would the numbers work
I emailed them yesterday when this first happened, got in from work yesterday tried again and still nothing. I had a look this morning and they were asking me for more info so they could sort it out.
So I emailed again giving a bit more info and thought maybe they would sort it today, if not I would ring them.
All the time this is going on my withdrawal symptoms are worsening lol it's one of them can't have want situations pmsl
So I am sat here reading posts and decided to check bank balance (and colour red is so nice this time of year lol) I couldn't put my numbers in
Anyway to cut a long story short lol I had my Num Lock thing on or off don't know which lol and to be honest didn't know I had lol.
So I have again emailed Gala, explained about the situation, also told them I am old and IT brain dead. I also asked them not to laugh (well not too loud anyway) wished them a Merry Christmas and thanked them for their help.
I will let you know if I win lol Enaid x

My cats are lap cats, so "in your face" I get fed up of them sometimes. Better than having our Millie sit on my lap though, large border collies and small laps ain't the best combo lol.

We've got two cats and I love them dearly but they don't sit on laps for a cuddle and thats what I wanted them for. If they did that I think I would be happier somehow. We pay £16.50 a month for them to be insured and its going up to £24 a month from January, but to me its worth it. Excepting being that I had to pay £149 in November for their annual jabs, flea/worm treatments, Anal Gland emptying etc

Re: FMB Fanclub
He's got a point I suppose. I love my dogs dearly but they are a tie when it comes to getting away, it costs an arm and a leg for kennels, over £200 for our two for a fortnight, and thats with them sharing. Also, you have to think of the routine etc. My sisters got Dobermanns and they have to be fed at certain times, walked at certain times etc. my own dogs don't exactly have a routine as such, just depends how you fit it all in I suppose. And then there's vets bills, a subject dear to my heart having just handed over £131 to our vet last night. One two of my sisters dogs are on medication which costs £170 per month!
Cats are easier, and you can always ask a neighbour to feed it while you're away. But the vets bills can be just as high.
Like I said, I love my dogs dearly but would have to think very seriously about having another one if and when anything happens to them.
