      Just found this BB

If anyone can shed any light on this, I would be interested to learn more about the origin of the term.

I forgot to add to mine,
Mine was Puffrose, my childhood nickname and name mixed, and Celestine added the word Hurricane to it after, to quote Jar Jar Binks.. I had an Iiiiiity bitty accidenty which resulted in a hairline fracture of my pinky finger!

Friends all i need are roller blades and I will be a complete bloody disaster, trimming my toenails can result in a slipped disc and total below knee amputation!!

I am the only person I have we ever known who ended up in hopsital after lighting a fag!!!

A lot of divisional officers used to call it, rather unkindly, the "Odds and Sods Department". We had a similar division in one of the forces I served with called the Police Support Unit, but they were usually called the "Wittering Wallies".

As you will have guessed, police officers can be somewhat unkind to each other. Most of it, however, comes from the somewhat black, gallows sense of humour uniformed police officers have.

No, CC. But I did have a colleague who had a passing resemblance to the gorilla in the video. He was massive and as tall and he was wide. His nickname was "Sasquache" or "Big Foot". He came into the Control Room one Late Turn, dragging a prisoner behind him, who was due to be transferred to West Midlands Police at Droitwich. The prisoner was absolutely terrified.

My username over the road (CAG) was Darling, when Cel, Ame, myself and a few others got banned and this site was started, I struggled for a new name, firstly I called myself Paraiba after a favourite gemstone, then when someone blew my cover I renamed myself Sapphire, now I don't give a toss who knows who I was before.

I adopted CYNthesys because it officially stands for Clydesdale Yorkshire Northern the system. After seeing YODA on TV blowing the whistle I discovered that this named code system that was used by NABS UK arm for their charges

Also a daily reminder of how these barstewards ruined my family's life, will never, ever forgive them.

I used to do Planning Applications for Conservatory Businesses and after getting snowed under doing them with manual drawings--I bought & learnt Turbocad(like Autocad)----hence Turboman

As I'm from an IT background--I also went to help software developers across the world:lol:

Kitiara is taken from my favourite book series - Dragonlance, by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman, great books and although Kitiara is basically evil, I would like to think I am tough like her when necessary (especially when confronted by baliffs etc) lol
