The thread is as it says above. Normally we choose a username that is personal to us or might be that we like the cartoon character/tv personality.
What's your story?
Leclerc, basically, I have had multiple usernames across forums and many people have spotted them quite quickly which would indicate I am crap as disguises. As the nattie/NWSM name was no longer needed as such, since I was no longer a member of staff then I went with the Allo Allo character of leclerc who was equally as rubbish at me at being someone else.
Over to your guys.

Re: What's the story behind your username?
A combination of various factors: I like flowers and was known as "Flowerpower" on another forum, however, that name got quite badly discredited
, so I decided to sign up under a different name, but keeping the initials "FP" as well as the flower connection. Flaming parrot is actually a tulip variety, not a bird, and I've got some coming up in my front garden. But there's also a bit of the parrot in me (as in bird
). I was also 'flaming' (as in fuming :mad2: :mad2: :mad2
on the day I joined, so Flaming Parrot it was!

Re: What's the story behind your username?
I have an exotic 'foreign' name which begins with the letter 'Z'. It's something of a handicap, as it seems to present a baffling pronunciation problem for most folk!
.
There's a common assumption that my name ought to begin with the similar-sounding, and far more Euro-centric, 'S' ... so invariably whenever anyone attempts to write my name I have to correct them by saying "It starts with a Zed". And having uttered this correction so many times, I gradually became known, amongst friends and colleagues, as “Zed” ... and I’ve been Zed for a heck of a long time now!

I used to do Planning Applications for Conservatory Businesses and after getting snowed under doing them with manual drawings--I bought & learnt Turbocad(like Autocad)----hence Turboman
As I'm from an IT background--I also went to help software developers across the world:lol:

I adopted CYNthesys because it officially stands for Clydesdale Yorkshire Northern the system. After seeing YODA on TV blowing the whistle I discovered that this named code system that was used by NABS UK arm for their charges
Also a daily reminder of how these barstewards ruined my family's life, will never, ever forgive them.

My username over the road (CAG) was Darling, when Cel, Ame, myself and a few others got banned and this site was started, I struggled for a new name, firstly I called myself Paraiba after a favourite gemstone, then when someone blew my cover I renamed myself Sapphire, now I don't give a toss who knows who I was before.
