Seeing articles in the press about horsemeat today and earlier this month one would have to wonder if there is human in some food in the food supply chain as with the horsemeat in burgers that those who eat them knew nothing about who knows ?
It would not surprise me that if we had had a strong Italian style Mafia that it would have happened, however, I suspect the human aspect in the food chain may well simply be as a result of flu like symptoms

When my brother was a university in Manchester, the local Chinese, frequented by the students, was shut down for serving dog. I have to say, if I was served anything out of the ordinary like that I'd be sick. That's blown my consideration for I'm A Celebrity!!!

I remember this we used to eat there, great dim sum, they found dog and cat skins in the rubbish bins I seem to remember. As A follow up , the restaurant changed hands several times after this incident and all of the business failed, people could not get the memory out of their heads even though they were new owners, refurbished premises, its a stationers now. I suppose this is why the big stores take stories like this so seriously.

Explains why you're a Beagle Puppy lol

It must have been in the early 1980's I think, possibly slightly earlier.

My parents were based in Germany (post war) and horsemeat was available. The point is,if you don't want to risk eating something 'unsavoury'..don't eat meat you are unsure of what it is.
Personally,I'm a carnivore and am a firm believer in the 'circle of life' (noone needs start wailing the Elton John song' lol),I don't think a lion would be proper fussy what type of human he ate

                      Sorry ... couldn't resist!

Sat here reading the label on these Tesco Burgers and it turns out they're fairly low in fat, but surprisingly high in Shergar.

Just been to the fridge to check on those beef burgers I bought from Tesco........AND THEY'RE OFF!!!

Horse fillet steaks for sale at Tesco buy them quick they won't be there furlong.

I've found it tough lately working on the Tesco meat counter.... I feel like I'm flogging a dead horse.

Just ordered a burger in a Tesco cafe. The waitress asked me if I wanted anything on it? I said a fiver each way!!

Horses in Tesco burgers, what next, my LIDL pony....

DNA testing of food as opened up a whole new can of worms it seems, perhaps literally, give it time.
