      Re: Christmas Has Arrived

Exactly. Except I don't have time to do all that cos i work 50 hours a week lol. Which is why I've got the European Washing Mountian in my utility room and the European Ironing Mountian in my conservatory lol. And anyway, if I was at home all day I'd either laze about reading a book or go down the stables lol. So it'd still never get done so why bother stressing about it?

        Re: Christmas Has Arrived

That's spot on, tis stress that will make you ill or even kill you, not the fact you haven't done your ironing
I only work part time and I don't laze about all day, I just spend most of it on here lol

I put the tree up yesturday, made the first batch of mince pies this morning. I have already bought all the pressies and will wrap them later this evening. My shopping slot is booked at Asda for delivery on Friday before christmas. Radio times is in the newspaper rack. Two cases of Rioja have arrived from Virgin wines (thanks Gobby for the voucher codes) I have already listened to My Phil Spector Christmas CD. Re: Christmas Has Arrived

Sounds perfect Sol. I used to work Christmas Day in the Hotel and I loved it - escape from ''THE FAMILY'' and a great atmosphere.

I put my tree up today - my lights have blown up so have to go find some new ones from somewhere urrrghhhh then the kids can whack their school and homemade decs on....and i have a lovely folky green lady to go on the top. Going shopping on Friday to get the presents - one of husbands manafacturers gave him £200 of shopping vouchers today (THANK YOU GOD ! ) so everyones getting something from woolworths lol. Then I'll write me cards at the weekend wrap pressies and make sure the kids are naughty enough that they'll understand why they havent got the new bike, Wii and DS Lite's they are asking Santa for. lol. Tangerine and a walnut my child and be grateful !
