I'm almost there with the shopping, just a few ends for hubby and then the food, but like you said, there's no need to go too mad.:santa_wink:

The way its going we're all in for the snow again, just checked the online Met office now, I'm on the eastern side of Wales, looks like its going to hit the Western side before it comes over to where i live, but yeah your right what you said......"I did shout" LOL, arh well maybe anotherr snowman to build then :clgblinkie171:.

Morning all,

Its blimmin cold here and I hear on the news that we should expect more snow by the end of the week, oh wonderful eh I hear you all shout, anyways time to stock up on the food stuffs again lol, might nip to Tesco and get an extra loaf of bread and a bag of potatoes, can't see the sense in going mad to be honest.

Anyways all good here, apart from its out busiest time of year so I'm back and forth sporadically until after close of play Crimbo Eve.

Hi my friends.

My sister's baby is due any day now, she been having a few pains and had to have a check up down the hospital this afternoon, nothing progressing at the mo, but they did say they will possibly start her off on Weds if nothing happened by then.
Its her 2nd one and 10 year age gap, she already has a daughter and now expecting a boy.:santa_wink:

Not too bad here in Wales now apart from it being very cold, like everywhere else in that respect really......still some lying snow frozen over.

Morning Di, its horrendous here in Essex, so we've shut our office and are working from home, the plus side to that is I am in the warm, had a lie in till 7.30 am and am plotted in front of the tv watching daytime tv.

How's your weather doing now?

Snow frozen over here, roads not brilliant though, some roads still closed, mainy valleys the last i heard.

Anyway, there were some tailbacks on the severn bridge yesterday - 26 mile long, my sister could not make it down from Cornwall, so is venturing it today, just hope she gets here alright as we have the family meal at 4 o clock.

Its certainly a cold one.

Have anyone had the snow falling yet?

Here in Wales, we are lucky up to now, but not out of the woods quite yet, the Wales Weather on BBC 1 said we may get a little tomorrow, or it may miss us, but next Tuesday there's a possibility of blizzard conditions.
