Nice of him to explain it to his membership, it would have been a better idea to do that BEFORE though so that people knew what was going on ffs.

Anyways I'm so glad they can now pay their bills, I was sooooooooooooooo worried that they were sufferring ..........................

    NOT !

When oh when will they realise that their first priority are their members and keeping them informed, that one of the things Beagles does best, amongst others.

I assume you've done the webcheck stuff. I think that £500.00 will go along way. I do wonder if the payday loans is helping out customers in financial hardship cos their guide wouldn't help a cat under the wheels of a tank on a road.

Got to ask... why doesn't Goosey just take advantage of a nice instant loan? If he clicks on one of his ads, all his problems will be solved.

Then when he runs out of money, he'll have another loan company to apply to.

He could always get one of those PayDay loans. That would tide him over until the end of the month.

To make over £1400 a month on Google Ad clickthroughs is quite a lot though. (He said they needed £1400 a month to keep going so one assumes that notice means they are surpassing that)

Well at least they arent affiliate links, because then CAGs income would related directly to how much in payday loans was taken out by CAG visitors.

I;d much rather have affiliate links to things unrelated to the subject matter, but of course then you dont get the click throughs. Eg. You could have an argos, amazon, tesco, JLP etc affiliate links and try get people to go to those sites via your site when they want things.

You have to wonder just how many of those clicking are digging themselves some very deep holes.

But that's OK. They can always joing CAG and find out how to avoid paying back their shiny new debts.

THAT'S IT!!! Gander is on a massive recruitment drive!!! LOL

The reason that Legal Beagles is the way it is **** is that the majority of people who fall out with CAG, end up there !

A search around the posters on various threads there shows that quite a number of long time posters no longer make contributions.

These were the one's with experience, expertise and common sense so a great loss especially as there seems to be a lack of knowledgable people to fill their shoes so far.

For some obscure reason I received the CAG newsletter today. Why they think I would be even remotely interested in anything they have to do or say, especially when I tried and tried to get a response from them when they moderated me, is beyond me and Hotmail clearly thought the same and helpfully placed it in the 'Junk' folder for me.

The only better place Hotmail could have chosen for it, would have been the 'Deleted' folder, which is where it is now - unopened.

Was only recently when mailshots were mentioned it was turned down flat due to costs. So how come they can do it now?

No idea, but if they are sending them out to people who no longer post and God knows that must be an ever growing and very long list and those ex-members then put them in the bin, then it is very much a waste of money.
