Re: Fed up with the bickering
This recent debacle seems to show - yet again - that those who believe that size is everything are simply narcissistically obese. What good is a forum of 250,000 people, if only the loudest voices are heard ? The roar of a football crowd is an impressive thing to hear and feel - but it is quiet, unassuming quality that is needed in this game.
I'm surprised that huge red giant hasn't imploded under the force of its' own gravity, yet, but I guess it will happen soon, now. I am just pleased to see that those who have left the planet have not just disappeared into the vastness of space.
Just watch out for low-flying kryptonite for a while, PT !!!

Ta. You know me fella ... I'm not giving up the fight and I promised to help others as part of this whole thing. If I have to do this in spite of the dreadful behaviour of others then so be it.Originally posted by pt2537 View PostWelcome aboard my friend

Re: Fed up with the bickering
Looks like the beginning of the end for GAG as a force to be reckoned with is nigh. It's starting to be one thing after another now.
It's depressing and sad to watch some of the best and most prominent people walk off because of the site team's poor treatment of some of its longest-standing users.
I said before that I spent much time to spread awareness of that site, whether it be postings on other forums (notably whocallsme) or on Youtube clips, but I can't in all honesty do that now.
I hope GAG begins a drastic re-think of where it's actually going - and quickly!

Re: Fed up with the bickering
Without a doubt whoever is responsible for the recent gagging at 'Gag' (like it!) will be watching these forums like a hawk to see who is here and what they are saying.
And they will also be experiencing an excruciating sense of frustration because they cannot 'moderate' here.
Celestine; your post explains why some very credible people who became moderators were suddenly moderators no more.Last edited by Zazen.Warrior; 1st August 2010, 09:26:AM.

PT
I have 2 fairly illegible agreements that both Drydens and Wescot have issued claims (posted in the VIP section). Do you have a skeleton argument that would help me in both these cases?

im not sure if there is, and if it has much info on it to be honest,Originally posted by Amethyst View PostOh yes, and do you have a link to DElfi's case, sounds like its worth a read. xx ta.
When those who sought to undermine started on at us, we decided to keep the info sparse on CAG for good reason.
I do have all of the pleadings, all of the witness statements, and the judgment is about a week away from transcription as its with Audrey Jones at the moment.
i was in court at the trial and am able to answer any Q's you may have

Re: Fed up with the bickering
I'm going to shift this thread down to the Lamppost (community forums) as its gone a bit beyond ''welcome to beagles''. Hope thats okay with all. I completely utterly understand peoples frustrations and upsets with CAG, as do lots of people here having been through similar, so don;t think I'm moderating anyone, and everyone is very welcome, but contrary to popular opinion, Beagles isn't an anti CAG site. I just feel this would be better being discussed in the the discussion forums rather than the welcome forums xx

Not half as bad as the CMC adverts for lowlifes such as Ismart

I actually sat open-mouthed the other day when I saw an ad for HSBC on CAG . Their sole purpose is survival at any cost - including the reasons for which they exist.

Re: Fed up with the bickering
OK,Originally posted by zhanzhibar View PostHi Pt
that's true but lately, it also seem to depend on which judge you got for your case, i mean look at the Brandon/Amex case. Its clear Amex were so clearly in the wrong about the DN & yet they win. As LiP its really scary of this unknown because even though we know the consumer law is on our side, some people of the court seem to ignore the law or is that what its all about, one's interpretation of the law rather than what is stated as law.
I am glad delfi won his case with Weightman, one parasite I managed to trash.
would really appreciate it if you could help me on my Amex case coz other than the invalid DN, my other point was no credit agreement signed by me but they keep saying that it is electronic agreement and that I have tick the box o/wise won't be able to carry on & they can't accept the application. I can't seem to find case law on electronic agreement pre CCA 2006, do you have any that I can read?
There is this real weird idea that you just need to look for the prescribed terms and that it.
WRONG.
Two riders,
1 PT's need to be there
2 They need to be correct.
Most agreements have the prescribed terms, but not all are correct.
Its all about looking at the detail. Finding the faults.
The first thing i do is look at the statements, is the interest rates being applied what they agreement says it should be. Are the terms actually the right ones for your agreement etc
you need to look beyond the "PTs" sometimes,
Delfis case, many of the so called resident experts told me he didnt have a hope, we all know what happened.
Now then, also, they need to show you an agreement, and there is also the small requirements of s62 and 63 to overcome.
I will have a look over your thread and see if there is anything i can do to help
