Re: Legal Beagles Fantasy Football League 2008
Forgot to change my goalkeepers round, as Liverpool were playing Villa. I left in Friedel who not only got sent off, but Liverpool stuffed them 5-0! Hence my miserable 18 points......

For this month alone you are the leader young man, but please try and remember this is a marathon and not a sprint, so stay back in 13th and watch me at the top of the leaderboard.:tung:Originally posted by natweststaffmember View PostHOD, for just this month alone, who is winning?

After a temporary slip from the top spot I am back where I truely deserve to be. I hope Stevo enjoyed his short reign on the leaderboard, believe me it wont happen again.

After a season of so-called title deciders Manchester United can wrap up the Barclays Premier League crown on Saturday lunchtime, by beating deadly rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford. United are seven points clear at the top, and have a game in hand, but Liverpool crushed European giants Real Madrid in midweek.
At the other end of the table there is a genuine relegation six pointer as established Barclays Premier League duo Middlesbrough and Portsmouth battle it out for their survival. The pair find themselves in the bottom three following a dismal campaign and will be fighting for a win that could move them out of the relegation zone.
Michael Owen is expected to make his comeback for Newcastle this weekend against Hull, after recovering from the ankle ligament injury that has kept him out of the last five matches. The England striker has scored 30 goals in 70 appearances for the Toon Army and returns with the club languishing in 17th place.
West Ham midfielder Jack Collison will be out for up to seven weeks after dislocating his kneecap in the win over Wigan last week. The talented youngster joins fellow midfielder Valon Behrami on the sidelines who was ruled out for six months with a knee ligament injury.
