just heard today, my court has applied a blanket stay on all bank charge related cases! didn't even bother reading my bundle..... which contains an application for a rejection of any stay!
I've been given an N244 and been told to apply for the stay to be lifted on my case, for which of course there is another fee (quite lucrative for the courts all this don't ya think)

Thankfully due to the fact I'm on benefits I am exempt from any charges. tiss no laughing matter for those who are not though.

Your right enaid, CC claims should go through as well as business claims but judges are applying stays to anything bank charge like which is wrong.

Hartlepool County Court are Staying all penalty claims, I was there a few weeks ago with Citicards and they were represented by an agency lawyer who was as supprised as I was when the DJ said that all claims of this nature were to be stayed, his mind was made up before we went in ..B
