    Re: BT again!

Tech guy from Newcastle rang to say he was now "happy" with my "result" but I can still keep in touch for a further 28 days! Other part is still on going still want to know why I was getting bills for such poor service and my equipment being blamed and that I still "had" to do a potentially dangerous thing in taking apart my wall socket.

        Re: BT again!

Well would you belive a "customer satisfaction survey" from BT in my mail box today! Going to think it over and try and get my point across about the habit they have of asking you to remove the cover of the socket, a risky move and potentially hazzardous.
Each person would be different and if I was to score a risk assessment on my own set up it would be about a seven, I know that sounds high but I think it merets this, so will work that into a potential answer!:tinysmile_aha_t:

          Re: BT again!

i agree if they said if its your equiptment its a tenner, fair play.. but £99 for someone to come out and do a job you are paying for already is daylight robbery!

The more people that say something isnt right, the more BT will have to sit up and listen. and DT, tell the that your account number is not proof of accepting a new contract, as if that was the case then banks could give out loans willy nilly!!

              http://www.bt.com/pricing/homepage.htm
This on e mail from CEO office (not the man himself)
Feel they still have not adressed the issues, have had pm from Puffrose (thankyou) regarding the price incrrease, not sure if I have had the e-mail about this because of everything else that was going on but hoping that i can still terminate the contract withinin the thirty day time limit but will have to look at alternatives, according the the comparison I have the coice of BT(?!) Plusnet. Post Office ,Talk Talk (no thanks after bad experiance with Carphone) or Sky.
No real difference in prices and ma unsure when the prices for them are chaanging as well.

                Re: BT again!

i would suggest sky, thats where I am going, and be firm with BT, say you have a serious complaint and are not happy with paying more for a service you are not getting, and tht you have made you mind up you wish to leave... and if need be quote the link i sent you

                  Re: BT again!

As you drive into my village, there's a HUGE banner which reads, "If you are unhappy with the speed of your BT Broadband, please sign the petition in the Co-op."

I don't know how many have signed, but clearly a few here feel strongly about it.

                    Re: BT again!

Cannot get Infinity, no cables and cannot see them getting down here any time soon!
Here in East Anglia we had a petition for better broadband but most exchanges are old and as other providers have to lease off the giant that is BT would I actually be better off?
Even mobile coverage can vary with Vodafone being the best for phone but last time I checked could not offer an internet connection
