Good luck [MENTION=62194]Magoo[/MENTION]. (And my previous comment was regarding the change in legislation that lead to the £1500 win).

Also, the numbers above show he has won ~£100k through the courts but that presumably doesn't include any of the money that he makes from people who pay before being issued with court papers. There are many reports of people who paid right away (like I tried to do) or people who gave into the emails and texts etc before being issued with court papers.

It wouldn't surprise me if he was making much more. Didn't his tax return talk about £200k or something?

Just walked out of court , he didn't turn up but they still took his statement into account.

The judge dismissed the case on the grounds their web site is misleading , I didn't receive any of the charges, they booked an appointment after I told them I didn't need one and the appointment they made was wrong in the wrong name anyway.

She wasn't interested in any of the other evidence apart from the ASA about being misleading .

In the process of writing my witness statement and had some emails in my junk inbox which disappeared before I could print a copy. It was their first approached back in November saying we understand you have a solicitor please give us the details we have arranged for a member of citizen advice bureau to contact you but basically pay us as you have no legs to stand on... I

Hi All,

Many thanks for the good wishes and vibes - they worked! The judge found in my favour + £90 expenses for having to take a day off. My defence was based more on the fact that I left the website before paying because I was concerned about it's authenticity, and that the services they then tried to provide were far to late to be of any use, than that the website was misleading.

The judge said that because of the the strength of the first two points, he was not going to rule on the misleading nature of the website. He read Judge Raggett's rulings from Alex Yates' case, but as they are at the same level, he was not bound by its findings, so it's definitely worth providing this. RH did not turn up, but he had told the court he wouldn't, so they accepted his written deposition.

Good luck with your court cases! I imagine RH will not turn up to any from now on.
