Yes, we were litigants in person - having won the Tribunal it now seems that how to claim our costs is beyond me!

      SEe FTT rules 13(7): https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/...rticle/13/made

The costs process is equally beyond me. It has to be worth a call to a costs lawyer.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

That said - make sure that you collate all your expenditure on the case - any court fees paid, copying charges, travel expenses etc. Hopefully you have kept receipts.

Next - did you keep a log of your time spent working on the case, on correspondence, travelling and hearings?

Multiply your time spent by £19/hour, add your expenses, and write to the other party with a short breakdown, inviting a realistic offer within 14 days.

After that - costs lawyer. I have no idea whether these people are any good: https://legalpracticesupport.co.uk/l...-person-costs/

Thank-you, I've contacted the company in the link so hopefully they can advise me. I will make sure that I have got all of my receipts and a record of the time that I took working on this case.

Thankyou so much for your time and knowledge
