hi guys.
i was in court in june contesting an application of warrant for a prepaid meter by npower. the case was ruled in my favour and i asked for my court costs to be repaid but was denied as it was deemed it was a legitimate case. i have sent since npower a letter reclaiming my costs, along the lines of:
Dear Sir/ Madam
On the (date) I appeared in court to contest the application for a warrant of entry to install a prepaid meter. The judge ruled in my favour and I am now requesting my costs of £130. This is includes planning, preparation, time in court, travel expenses and compensation.
Payment can be made by cheque, made payable to J Bloggs, or as a credit against my account and must reach me within 14 days.
Yours sincerely
the 14 days will soon be up. any ideas for a follow up letter.
thanks
