Bet company settlement - are they now liable?

They have said that as I did not mention that time was of the essence, they cannot be held accountable for stating "that day."

A lot will depend on the EXACT wording of the settlement offer that was finally accepted by you

Well exact wording was an email which said the free bets would "be back in my reinstated account with them by the end of the day."

so where does "that day" come from/refer to?

My account with them was closed. The arrangement was to give me the free bets and reopen the account, I asked that morning "when will the free bets be in the reinstated account?" They replied "they will be placed in the account today."

they said "today" and you relied on that.
They didn't just say "we will place them in your account" without specifying a time and you just assumed it would be "today".
IMO their problem
