just a removal meeting but they gave me reason even if no evidence to back it up which i thought you would need to in
    such a serious situation

    Flaming Parrot (Northern Ireland)

We do not have the Employment Tribunal Service.
We have the Office of the Industrial Tribunals and the Fair Employment Tribunal.

We do not have Tribunal fees to instigate a claim.

    We do not have ACAS
We have the Labour Relations Agency

I didn't mean to be pedantic, just trying to get it right because I don't know anything about Northern Ireland and wouldn't want to comment on something I have no idea about.

Are you based in Northern Ireland? The reason I ask is because you refer to Industrial Tribunal, and in England and Wales they've not been called that for a long time.

Is that legal insurance that often comes with home insurance? Good idea.

There may be many reasons he has not answered, he may be busy, on a day off, driving, in a meeting. Not everyone is glued to their email like me. Maybe he has had to ask someone else and is waiting on their reply.

I am as impatient as you, I want it not just now but yesterday , my P.A. is just hopeless ! I would sack her but a) i don't pay her and b she might take me to an E.T. lol

Try to relax and enjoy some time with your wife . Remember though to spend some time job hunting just in case and don't take the piss, they are paying you so technically in work hours you should be available

In this case it doesn't look like there's a reason for them not to give a good reference to start with, going by how that email reads, they'd be happy to recommend halsaps to work somewhere else.

Sadly the quality of advice you get from CAB can vary wildly depending on where you go and who you speak to. When it comes to employment matters, most CAB responses were woefully inadequate. One lady started googling stuff which is something I could have done myself. Another adviser printed off a list of local high street solicitors that dealt in employment matters; as you can imagine, they represent mostly respondents so they were quick to take the other side! :eek2: The only CAB I found that gave very solid employment advice was one in the City of London, and that was many years ago.

I do, with proper legal representation. See below for suggestions:  :thumb:

Three hours is not ages, once you get into the ET process, even three weeks is nothing! :mmph:

Hi this the email i sent him/

I would like to thank you for the support you have given me over the last few weeks, however since receiving your letter of 11.9.15 where you mention dismissal I am confused and concerned and very worried considering i am moving house in the next month. I thought that you did not want to dismiss me. Can you please explain so I know if I should be looking for another job more in earnest although i noticed a retail security job in chord with ddg or is this my old job as i said i have had 1 interview but not heard back. Could you tell me if you have plans for today and next week for me yet.
what would happen if i was to appeal the decision to remove me from Chord as I see this as an option. Have a nice weekend.
