I have been sent a claim form, I did receive a threatening letter a year ago but since then I have had nothing until an actual claim letter from Northampton. Should I have had a pre-action letter more recently?

Sorry the particulars of claim are unpaid parking charges and the claimant/parking manager is CP plus and the solicitor acting on their part has filed the claim, they are SCS LawOriginally posted by jaguarsuk View PostComment

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service
Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)
If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
