Hermes have misplace my parcel within their rugby hub

Hi did you get anywhere with this? Im most interested as I have the same thing albeit with Parcels2go, Hermes lost parcel. I to don't believe that i should carry the burden of taking out Insurance because of neglect on their part and not fulfilling the contract. Did the claim come to anything?

It went to mediation. The problem is you have to agree to the terms and conditions when you want to send a parcel. My Apple mobile phone came under the category as prohibited goods under the heading category Wet and lithium batteries, which i thought was very misleading. Although they lost it, the say I should not of even sent it as it was a prohibited item,, so i withdrew the claim and accepted a settlement of just 50 pound. Hard lesson i learnt, make sure you check the terms and conditions when you send a parcel. I will never use Interparcel.com or Hermes again. Hope this helps
