I wonder if anyone can offer me some advice ... I received a letter yesterday from county court claiming I have had a parking penalty unpaid and the claimant has put in a claim against me. I am not even aware that I received a ticket let alone the issue being taken to court ... what can I do to protect myself from this endorsement ... the claimant is civil enforcement limited in Liverpool and I've never even been to Liverpool let alone parked there .... I don't want to reply until I know when and where I was support to have received this penalty and it's kind of freaked me out as I don't ignore any thing and pay my bills on time ... cam this be a scam or is this real.... any advice would be greatly appreciated... many thanks

Could you post the particulars of claim please then you can write to the claimant asking for more information …. you also need to acknowledge the claim through the moneyclaim online system ( assuming the claim was brought through Northampton CCBC ?) - acknowledging the claim gives you up to 28 days from service of the claim to sort out whether you will be defending it.#staysafestayhome
