A defendant is not informed when a claim is stayed.
MCol is often OOD so a quick call is more reliable.

        Oooo the sly little (Bleep)

As Amethyst said they had just sneaked in, the claim had been Stayed but as the courts were running behind, apparently had to work weekends to catch up and found their response that was received on the 3rd and lifted the Stay ....

Good call Amethyst and Mike for not rushing in with the n244 form

Shame as well I was looking forward to sending them Nems letter

        DQ it is then...

Re: Letter Of Claim BW Legal

With mediation now out of the due to lack of paper work and MCOL saying transferred to local court, any idea on the time scales for this and when witness statements have to be in?

Once you receive the hearing date letter from the court of course....you could prep your WS if you wanted to be doing something, but as it's been a couple months since returning your DQ I'd be inclined to give the court a call and check what's happening with allocation - the case should have been sent to your local court to sort out a hearing date by now really, but as always - it's probably just a backlog, still worth checking just in case anything has gone astray or they have discon'd and not informed you.

Re: Letter Of Claim BW Legal *Update* apparent requested docs supplied

Today received from BWLegal apparently the documents mentioned in the Particulars Of Claim...

Can you mull over what I'm about to upload..

What I notice is so far is :- Dates of apparent items ordered don't have a date when ordered!! + Items ordered 2 dryers, 2 desks, 1 bed chair and a ladies bustier (things I totally deny fully).
                            last payment apparently 23.07.2008 (So S/B :s).
Default date on credit report 19.7.2010 (2 years after).
                            Sold to Lowell 26.07.2010.
                            Credit agreement has no signature.
I don't believe this is any kind of statement of account.

Anything else I might have missed?

Hey Nem, the "statement of account" does but the 2 page credit agreement doesn't nor does it have a signature I've not removed anything and is just as it came
