  • Claim form ccbc Cabot & Mortimer

Hey, I'm new to the site but I could really do with some help with claim form I got in the post this morning. It's for a debt with Halifax from 2007 I had been paying up until 2010 when I move house and lost my job. Anyway I was due to start a new DMP but this has come before I did anything. i understand to acknowledge it and send letters to both the solicitors and Cabot for The paper work I signed. But what next..? Any help would be great does fighting the claim work?

It can work but every case is different and really depends on the individual circumstances and the kind of debt it is. Whichever, the aim to to try avoid a CCJ if that is important to you.

SO what is the debt ? Halifax card? loan? credit card?

Thanks for reply. It's for a loan in 2007. I've got bad credit anyway. What I am worried about is the process I don't want a ccj and if I can fight I will.
