Freds should have responded to you CCA request as they are the pondlife currently chasing it. Its their responsibility to get it not yours to chase round their scummy puppet masters. As regards the alleged payment they are obliged to PROVE that YOU actually made the payment. It's not up to you to prove you didnt make it.

Lowells are well known for imaginary payments to prolong a stat barred debt. Apparently I made a payment in a bank 250 miles from my home on a Sunday when I was in the US of A.

Thats what I thought too. After all Lowells are paragons of honesty and never break the rules. A shining example to all

Thanks Mike and ODC.....well lets see what response I get. I sent a cca request to Lowells....no reply yet and time is up last week.

You see the DN that vanquis sent me.....

I know if I made an offer and said I could only afford a £1 a month they would accept....where as back then I was offering to pay £10 a month due to financial problems..if they had accepted my offer then....this debt would have cleared by now....and I asked then to refund the charges....they always refused.

Makes you wonder at times....and anyways....after my biggest battle with Blemain....this debt seems like a drop in the ocean. I never said I would not pay...neither did I ever ignore any letter..but I believe that Vanquis were most unfair....and passing my debt around to Tom, Dick and Harry....and no doubt a Fred....too....just seems such a waste of time.

These companies should save all their ink, paper, and postage....as the amount of letters they send out to people are so unnecessary in my view.

I remember I opened this account online with a digital signature...no need to sign...so am wandering what they will send back to my cca request?

DN 2 do you notice no date on the letter, only on a different document, same as mine?

I also wrote to Lowell & BC....and waiting to see what they reply and will post up. I need to know how they claim I made a payment of £11.59....lets see what they come back with...but for now the brakes are on.

Maybe I should drop Bryan Carter a few lines or send a photocopy of Fredricksons letter to them....because BC advised that I should contact Fredrickson within 14 days...which I did....
Definitely a good idea to keep the shysters informed just in case they get funny ideas. :thumb: With so many parties involved, there's always a chance of misunderstandings and lack of communication from A to B and B to C. :juggle: The Lowlifes in particular, are very fond of dirty tricks.

I received these two letter today from Lowells..... guess I will have to wait and see what response they send.

I have sent them a question about where they received the £11.59 they claim I paid last year...no mention of that in these letters....may ask again.

Lowell are correct. The Deed of assignment is a commercially sensitive document relating to the sales of a shed load of alleged debts. They would have to produce this in Court to ptove ownership.

Wait and see what they come up with in relation to a CCA.

As for the alleged payment of £11.59, this is a well known tactic of the Leeds Losers to invent payments. They tried it with me in rgard to a payment I was supposed to have made in a bank several hundred miles away on a SUNDAY!!!!

Rmember THEY MUST PROVE the payment was made by YOU

That is a standard DCA response to a CCA request, they buy debts in bulk without paperwork and have to go back to the OC for documents. They are being good boys by saying they will only communicate in writing and won't send anyone round to see you.

The other letter is not really a Deed of Assignment, more like a Notice of Assignment if you can call it that, but that's all they have to send. They are clearly template letters and don't address the payment issue at all. Remind me again, is this alleged payment being used in an attempt to restart the SBd clock? :clock:
