    Re: Sicktodeath and Cabot

please can anyone help me with advice on cabot. had a halifax car fell behind paid a debt company and then started to pay cabot few years ago (mind people were not as up to date) anyway just by chance i read something about this company and that you should check if they own the debt. done this last year sent recorded letter asking them to prove they owned the debt never heard from them about it but got a few letters saying they were suspending payment until the original lender got back to them. got taken to court last month after having a citation hand posted through the door i went to court they DID NOT show up so the judge dissmised. Fri got another citation for court again diff lawyers acting for them this time and diff court issued citation. Can someone please give advice C.A.B are not taking on any new debt cases at the moment thanks for reading kate

So just to get an accurate picture of things here - What your saying is cabot took you to court once, and the case was dimissed by default in your favour after they failed to turn up. But now under a different lawyer and different court (not northampton bulk centre is it? thouhg if in scotland then i doubt it is.), they are trying to take you to court again for the same debt despite the last case being dismissed?

Am not an expert on Scottish law, but i feel that they are abusing the court process somewhat by doing the above.
