  • Cabot - no default Notices

    Hi

    I have a question ?
Can you be issued a Default notice when you are under a IVA..?
    Thank you in advance..

I don't see why not, you have, by virtue of entering into an IVA, defaulted on payments under the agreement and I suspect it happens automatically - best is to check with your IVA provider as you'll likely need to be passing letters like this on to them.

Any support I provide is offered without liability, if you are unsure please seek professional legal guidance.

      Hi
      Thank you for replying.
Im not in IVA any more and it was a DMP i believe, but i can not remember receiving a Default Notice so couldn't send to DMP company and they never mentioned any being received by them.
But 1 is on my credit file from nearly 6 years ago that i didn't know about.
The company on file is Cabot finance but they apparently only bought my account in 2016 and this was dated 21 june 2013.
Thank you for taking the time again.
