          Hello all

can anyone still help work with the above. I haven’t received any information about acknowledging the debt etc. I’m not sure where I stand as had another letter posted through my door today. Will they accept payment plan? Do I contact local court? Thanks in advice I’m really unsure on which way to go.

Do you mean you didn't receive the claim form or did you receive it but not file an Acknowledgement of Service or Defence so there was a Default Judgment (CCJ) against you?

Then it's no wonder the Warrant has come as a shock and surprise.

You may need to get the CCJ set-aside so you can deal with the claim and you need to try to get the Warrant suspended.

That would be the next logical steps.

Do some research and see if you can get Arrow to consent to the set-aside to save you the cost of going to court.

Thank you Diana, who do I contact for this arrow global, the amount on the letter is also different to what I have looked up. I’ve had a letter hand delivered today saying I have a few days to pay full amount at my local court. I’m sitting going through all paperwork to see if I’ve missed something and I haven’t received anything now from arrow global before. Thanks

If you want to do a Set Aside Application you will need to do this asap and ask to suspend the warrant in your application ( costs £255 unless you are eligible for fee remission - see EX160 )

Alternatively you can apply to the court to vary the order to installments and suspend the warrant with form N245 ( costs £50 )

Have you moved recently ? Any idea what the original debt is ?

thank you for your help. I rang the local court today who gave me more info and a telephone number on who to call. Just spend the last 45 minutes with them going through everything and got the ballifis to stop and suspend the ccj. I know know what debt it is and it is mine and arranged affordable Payments. Thanks again

                            Thank goodness that's sorted.

No more worrying about bailiffs coming back to your home.
