I am sure HSBc sold it to another DCA i made payments to then i stopped paying, it got sold to Arrow Global i recall some years ago maybe 2015 and now i get this letter. Is there grounds to say debt is unenforceable as not made payments for 6 years?

          Have you SAR'd HSBC?
See link, green box, top of thread.
Do you have historic bank account details for the relevant period? (Circa 6 years ago).

A SAR is a data subject access request which should provide you with information held by the creditor relating to you.

How along ago was the last payment you made towards the debt and what is the nature of the debt? i.e credit card, loan etc

I honestly cannot remember, i stopped paying years ago, before the debt got purchased by Arrow Global in 2015. It was with another DCA before them. From Arrow Globals letter to me it states it was a HSBC Credit Card.
Im not sure what letters i can send to them to stop them in their tracks. They have filed a court claim now.
