After 3 years, a court date for my case

Hi guys, just received a court date for the allegation of theft by past employers. I have until April to send my defence for this case. Amethyst and sticky were kindly looking into it, but now need your help!!

Hi guys, don't know if you remember me, lol left employment Dec 2014, had a call from police to state employer had accused me of theft of some money. I answered ask questions to police, who then dropped the case through no evidence. They then have taken steps to issue me with a county court small claims court for obscene amount of damages and monies missing. During for £4700 allegedly stolen PLUS fees, mounting to total of over £7000. I denied the claim , obviously, but now have a court date of 16 May 2017, a mere two plus years after the fact!! I have now had 2 jobs since then, and have a clean bill of health with both, as d I did with 3 previously. The woman concerned, had accused me of theft in a previous role a few years prior, and that again was thrown out!! The letter states, that they have to pay a fee £335, be for April and send me a list of witnesses, prior to court hearing. I myself, have lost contact with all other staff members, so am on my own!

I'm sure you already sent a defence... ? so this is the next stages... have you had anything from the claimants at all in between times... ? This has taken a longggggg time to get round to Hearing Fee and Witness Statements. Did you write to them asking for the evidence ? I assume the April date is for witness statements and evidence documents as that's usually a couple weeks before the hearing.

I'll have a read back through your old thread xxx http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...urt-claim-**** and we're best carrying on there really.

If you can upload a copy of what you have had from the court and or the claimant in betweeny times that would be a marvellous help.
