If the stay is prolonged you could apply to the court to have the claim struck out or write to the claimants solicitors suggesting that their client should discontinue the claim as it seems they have no reasonable prospect of going forward.
Just stay aware of any communications.

Guess what? I've had a letter from Cabot today. Dated 18th November. It says they have asked the original creditor for a copy of the cca and haven't been able to obtain it, my account will be on hold incase they find it. As such the judgement is unenforcable in court however I am still obliged to pay the debt and it gives me options on how to do so. I will load it on here later but can't get to my scanner at the moment.

You are not obliged to pay they have no proof of the debt!

I would suggest that you contact the court in the morning to check if the claim is stayed (suspended).
My answer to them would be to say that you have put the matter " on hold" until they provide unequivocal proof of your liability.

                    Lol!

I helped a friend with a case; it was stayed 4 years ago.
                    I still check periodically!

Standard Cabot twaddle, ignore any " on hold " statements they mean nothing in the court process so make sure you deal with anything from the court promptly.

After almost 4 years I have today received 2 letters from Mortimer Clarke Solicitors. One offering me 20% discount if I pay within so many days, the other replying to my court defence. They say they have copies of the agreement but they can't send ne hard copies I need to send them my email address and ring their litigator to confirm the email address and then they will send me electronic copies.
They also say they do not accept that I waited for a county court judgement to request the paperwork and I had ample time to request it before things got that far.
